Research

My team and I work on developing coacervates as a tool for different areas of chemistry. Our ambition is to use coacervation to direct and control different aspects of synthetic chemical systems, in the same way that nature uses biomolecular condensates to control cellular processes.

Particularly, we are interested in the potential combination of coacervates with the following research areas:

• Systems Chemistry

• Supramolecular Chemistry

• Soft materials
